Day 29 of This Social Media Journey
Just another day on the grind loving the journey.
Crazy thing though, just updated my Instagram and they had a new feature called Instagram TV which I though was interesting so I played around with it for a while and really thought it could be powerful for marketing.
It allows you to see "shows" people put up which are just longer versions of their videos and watch them like TV shows.
This allows you to create a documentary and vlog type content or create a professional looking "show" and attract even more attention to your account.
The only concern I have at the moment is if they have enough attention on Instagram TV, are enough people using it to make it worth your while? Would love to see you drop a comment below if you are or are not using Instagram TV and why!
What I Focused on Today
The focus today was on prioritizing my time and doing the most important things first. So, starting when I got up, I did just that.
I moved onto client work right when I got up before going to the gym and got a good amount done and went to the gym.
Then I came back to start working on the services and now I am enjoying some free time for engaging on social media, writing this blog and learning through some books I am reading!
First few days doing this and I can already tell a huge difference in both the results I am getting and how productive I am being.
If you do these things first it makes sure you get them done and if you need to push anything off to tomorrow it can be a smaller task item and not something important.
And for anyone wondering, just copped a new book that I am starting tonight called Astrophysics for people in a hurry by Neil DeGrasse Tyson., I'll let ya know how it is!
What I Learned Today
Pretty much went over my main takeaways from today above in my focus for today as I learned the power of doing the important things first.
I made sure the important things got done earlier in the day and I didn't keep pushing them off like I have done in the past and the results show this works very well.
I ended up landing three new clients for helping market on social media actually and I'm very pumped about that opportunity to create a simpler, quicker and smarter solution to social media for them!
Just gonna throw this section in here because I can as the gym and health has been a huge part of my journey thing year, getting in the best mental and physical shape I can be in for the year.
Was leg day at the gym today and killed the workout with some new max out on squats and stuck with the diet today as I have been doing really well lately.
Two things I need to focus on more in this area is both my late night eating as it is not on the 10 hour time frame I eat in as well as the food I eat late night seems to be worse then during the day and that is an easy fix.
The second thing being trying to figure out how to get over this plateau I have in the gym and get some new personal bests. Any ideas on how to do this? Drop a comment below.
Going Into The Weekend
Going into the weekend I am going to have a heavy focus on content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and producing as much high quality pieces as I can for each account.
This increase in content is going to increase the page views and content views on social media and help me be able to start split testing, growing and landing more sales!
